Our tips for mountain bikers
A comfortable 28 km circular mountain bike tour, the Kaibling-Route, starts in Haus. But all those who are looking for a greater challenge can choose the popular Viehbergalm Trail, approx. 40 km. This circular tour leads through the Gröbming Range and the famous, or notorious “Öfen-Schlucht” gorge. And there is of course more: the Alpentour Steiermark is a local alpine mountain bike trail of unbelievable 1,138 kilometers and breathtaking at 31,305 meters above sea level.
Adrenalin kicks can also be found in a visit to the Bike Park on the Schladminger Planai with a 40 km long downhill distance run.
Enns Cycle Path in Styria
For those who wish to cycle at more leisurely pace, the cycle route along the river Enns “Ennsradweg” is only 200 meters away from our hotel Herrschaftstaverne or maybe a wild-romantic route along the Talbach valley in Schladming is the right one for you. You can also take out an E-bike from the hotel and cycle almost effortlessly along these beautiful routes.
