The Gschwandtner Lodge and the Gschwandtner Chalet are situated in Seewigtal in the Austrian region of Styria, only about 10 minutes away from Haus im Ennstal and at 1,250 meters above sea level. We have renovated the former farmhouses with love and care and they are now fitted out with everything needed for a comfortable chalet holiday on Alpine pasture slopes: traditional furnishings with a lot of wood but at the same time with a modern kitchen, wood-burning ovens or fire-places and including a private sauna for total feeling of wellbeing.
Our Chalet Hauserberg for up to 6 persons in Haus im Ennstal is the perfect base for hiking or ski holidays. You are here at the heart of the splendid hiking region of Schladming-Dachstein and the Chalet is only a few meters away from the ski slopes. This exclusive Chalet with sauna and open air bathtub is a charming mix of the traditional and the new: Real wood in line with the traditional but overall with modern architecture and facades of stone and wood. Natural materials make this de-luxe holiday home near Schladming really cosy and comfortable – for example real wood parquet flooring in the living areas or big stone tiles in the open rain shower.
Gschwandtner Lodge
This traditional holiday home of 200 m2 accommodates up to 15 persons for a “mountain home-from-home”. It is ideal for mountain holidays shared by a group of friends or families together.

At the heart of mountain paradise
The Gschwandtner country house and the Gschwandtner chalet are situated at the heart of the Schladming Mountains and so they are both absolutely perfect for all hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers. In only two minutes by car or on foot along a footpath you arrive at the Steirischer Bodensee. This lake in Styria is an absolute gem of nature and an ideal starting point for hiking tours or mountain bike tours. In winter, young and old will find everything they could wish for: breathtaking ski and snowboard pistes, cross-country ski trails, toboggan runs, numerous winter hiking trails and much more. By car you reach the 4-peak ski circuit Hauser Kaibling in only a few minutes.
